Hey guys! For this blog post I'm going to be teaching you how to make reese's peanut butter cup cupcakes. Lets get started!

~For the cupcakes you will need~
A cupcake/muffin tin
Cupcake liners
A box of chocolate cake mix
Mini reese's

~For the peanut butter icing you will need~
1/2 cup of softened butter
1 cup creamy peanut butter
3 tablespoons of milk
2 cups powered sugar
Sprinkles, Reese pieces (optional)
Piping bag with tip (optional, you can use a knife)

First preheat the oven to whatever your cake mix box tells you. Then add cupcake liners to your muffin tin and set that aside.

Now follow the directions on your cake mix, I added water , an egg, and vegetable oil to mine.

Next, but a mini Reese's cup into the cupcake liner and fill it 2/3s full of your cupcake batter.

Put your cupcakes in to oven for 15-20 minutes, or whatever your mix box tells you to.

While they are baking, lets start on the icing.
Start by adding the peanut butter and butter
in a bowl and beating until smooth. Gradually add in sugar, and when the icing gets thick, add the milk one tablespoon at a time, until the sugar is all mixed in and the icing is smooth. Beat the icing until it is fluffy. But the icing into a piping bag.

When your cupcakes get out of the oven let them cool. Then go ahead and ice them and add toppings, like crushed peanut butter cups, Reese's pieces, and sprinkles.

Enjoy your cupcakes!

~Ally~
